About 6 weeks ago, Sam, (one of our Beaver Leaders) contacted me and said that her company, Argos, were looking to do a community project within the Milton Keynes area and would we be interested. I replied that we were certainly interested and could the exterior of the Scout hut be painted.

On Tuesday 18 October, a team of Argos volunteers arrived at the Scout hut prepared to do battle with the outside of the building, armed with paint, rollers, and brushes all supplied from Homebase and proceeded with the advance on the task.

Not only did the guys and girls complete the painting of the Scout hut, they also painted the large shed AND gave the fence panels a going over.

Everyone worked extremely well and achieved more than I had expected.

So I just like to say a very big THANK YOU Argos (for an extremely happy competent and hardworking team) and to Homebase for supplying all the materials needed to complete this project.
